Dodge is a brand of automobiles, sport utility vehicles, and trucks. The company was founded in 1900 as the Dodge Brothers Company to supply parts and assemblies for Detroit’s auto industry. Dodge began manufacturing its own complete vehicles in 1914. At the present time, the company is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chrysler LLC. The brand was acquired by Chrysler Corporation in 1928.
